Erik is an award winning singer/songwriter who writes and performs originals with an eclectic style of music with many Influences such as Jason Mraz, Keb Mo, Bernhoft, John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Seth Walker and Amos Lee. A flexible musician whose musical library of covers encompasses artists including Sam Cooke, Cold Play, John Hiatt, Zac Brown Band, Chuck Berry, Jimmie Buffet, Van Morrison, Allman Brothers, Frank Sinatra, Howlin’ Wolf, Johnny Cash, Robert Cray, Bob Dylan, T-bone Walker, Stealers Wheel, The Impressions, Muddy Waters, Louis Jordan, Old Dominion, Eric Clapton, Alan Jackson, Bill Withers, Jimmie Reed.
Erik’s background as a studio owner/engineer creates a solid understanding of how to consistently produce quality sound no matter the venue. His goal is producing a very comfortable listening environment with reasonable volumes yet full and warm with energy.
Erik performs as a Solo artist, a Duo act, or with his full band, "Twelve Above" depending on the venue. He has been blessed with the opportunities to perform at a vast spectrum of venues ranging from small intimate spaces such as pubs, bookstores, and coffee shops to large festivals for millions of people such as the Woodward dream cruise. Whether he is playing a refined dinner set at restaurants such as Tom’s Oyster Bar and The Fox and Hound or throwing it down at a Juke Joint in Memphis Tennessee, Erik embraces each musical opportunity to its fullest potential.
